Things don't go as planned

Life is what happens to us while we’re making plans. I had an idea of how I will spend my weekend which (i thought) included some ceramics making and NOT hopping busses to Alston to spend a night in friends place. Guess what, I never got to touching any pottery because in fact the weekend did not go as quiet and uneventful as I thought it would.
Foley and I were hanging out at Davs, with bunch of people and Winston. Doug called and suggested we chill with him. We shrugged our shoulders (do people shrug anything else?) and went for it. Michelle found times of bus schedules and the hopping began.
We arrived to warm welcomes and Jim Beam shots. Typical. The night progressed to meeting people from various countries. Our friends do some CouchSurfing which is a really cool way of meeting people.
On the way to the bar, we stopped at Falafel Palace, which was a tiny cozy super yummy place that was always packed with peeps.
As the evening progressed, we decided to crash at our friends place and venture to IHOP in the morning. Yes. It was a glorious experience. I got stuffed crepes.

As i was walking back to my dorm room, several individuals were smoking sigarettes outside that i always say hi to. They actually invited me to chill with them for a bit, so i got to my actual room an hour later or so. Fine bunch of people, watching sports, some are super drunk by mid Sunday.

This week has already started. Seems i have more things to do, and less time. Weird... Just gotta make sure to keep the important things in mind.

Second Week of Classes

Hookah place was fun. We had Peach, Strawberry-Pomegranate and Apple flavors.

My boys J.L. and J.L. went out too. later one went back and we headed to SoulFire. Yummy BBQ. Pulled Pork and Mac-n-Cheese melt in your mouth with flavors. I ordered Dose XX's. The original beer place (S House) had 2.5 hours wait... No thanks.

First Capstone Class. MgDarth is great, and so is the class. I didn't know we needed books so he allowed me to copy the book and take a copy. Never hurts to ask people? Professors typically have a copy or two of their book. And various other books. so gotta read "Faith: trusting your own deepest experience" by next Monday. I don't remember reading this much (besides blogs and stuff online). This should be interesting because i actually am still reading "Buddism without beliefs". I am also trying to squeeze some "Everything you ever wanted to know about Oil Painting."

Cool things to watch:
Flash Forward was finished. Now Michelle and I started watching Moonlight on youtube.

Mondays are long. Good thing about them - it only happens once a week.

Oh and this is a picture of me when i was a little cute boy:

It's the little things that matter.

Thursday
Saw Inception with Michelle and Winston on large screen in Robsham theatre. lots of people came and many of them never seen it. It was quite good. We forgot much of the movie so it was refreshing.

Friday night:
before work and classes i went into Resume critique and got some help with my resume. After all, Teach for America needs to know how awesome i am, right?
Stopped by Atcha and Nat later to see BC own BU in hockey 3:2. Mat was there. We talked and such. After, Michelle and i saw Super Troopers (her first time seeing, and she totally underestimated it - she loved it).

Saturday:
I went into Ceramics studio and made more little dudes, finished another shapeful piece and started on "Don't" piece. Little dudes have gunshot wounds and knife and rocks hurting them. Each "hurt" will have a caption such as "don't visit hostile planets"
Now about to have a seafood wrap as lunch, then paint a bit and later will go out with several of suitemates and some girls to Hookah Bar and 75 tap beers.
Leave Sunday for chores and homework.

Ah Yes!

Ze blogging. Whew, the days fly by here, forgot how much random things and such happen every day. Went to my first ceramics class, started on some things including a continuation for the little dudes. Physics made me asleep and Child Growth Development has three football players sitting in the very front row, so i can't see well the shitty PowerPoint slides that our "professor" is reading from. Boring to the core, but i will try to make it awesome.
Going to work tomorrow since i don't have classes on Thursdays (yep, lucky me). Almost finished with Teach for America application, need to write the essay and refine my resume which i will bring to resume critique on Friday at 10am.
One sucky thing is that "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" tickets sold out, and this was one show i was looking to see this semester. They had a dress rehearsal tonight but Michelle cooked some Cornish hens, which were super good. Two different sauces and rice with a bunch of thangs in it. She be cooking real nice. Raising her cooking skill to level 300.

Side note for Art, Xander and Michelle:
What name would you have for her while thinking intercourse?
-Electra!
-Mine would be... Juggernaut.

Video of the Week

Here is to the SECOND SEMESTER SENIOR.

Yes. It has happened. The chapter has begun. Michelle and I left my place at 2pm, and arrived at BC around 7.30pm while stopping at Nana's, Liz's, Dav's. Got some dinner, (w) watched hulu.
This is what i got from P.C. to C.H.

Thinking of celling these to friends and such for like $8/can. You only need one for the whole party :)
I don't feel like unpacking but i guess i have to. Can't believe Cataclysm is over and time to invest into thought about future. These shall be quite interesting months of my life. I am very looking forward to them.
I don't have classes any classes tomorrow (No Tues, No Thurs) but i have to work at 11am-2pm. That should not be so terrible :) I'm looking forward to this entire week.

Snow outside.

Wednesday:
Went sledding with my sister, Xander, Lori, Chris. Lots of fun and energy. I haven't gone sledding in couple of years i think. The weather was perfect, not really cold, and the snow was super fluffy. Had to stop by my aunt's house to pick up a sled. Xander used a laundry crate as one of devices for sledding. Children around all were getting ideas. Went for some pizza afterwords.
We decided to go to Chris's after the endurance exercises. i dropped my sister off and headed into Field Point Cicrle. Four of us polished 2 bottles of wine; Lori brought sweet smelling and fruitty bottle, and Xander got a really good $12 bottle of smooth delicious red (Hob Nob).
We talked about all sorts of things and people:new and old friends, what it is to be in college, future, people, travelling, politics, current situations, sex stuff, relationships. Great time and being that there was only 4 of us, we were still able to hear each other. Although there were 2 conversations happening at once on more than one occasion.
Couple of people i extended the invitation to were at work. On the first awesome snow day. I hope that whatever $$ they made that day paid off for the memories they didn't have. Yes I'm talking like that because i don't have a job while on break. During school though i work 10 hours a week. No more. That's the minimum and come on, I'm in college (last semester of it... DUN-DUN-DUN) work can wait. There will always be ways to make money, and make more money. Memories/experiences > cash.
Yes i'm aware that cash is often directly responsible for the activities we're engaged in. Stupid capitalistic approaches...

Thursday:
Next day I was a bit sore in my shoulders in tricepts. My sister complained about more pain, but she also got hit by Xander who wasn't able to stir away in time while sliding down. I may, or may not have pushed him for extra boost. Fun times!

Rob invited some peeps over at his place to hang out and byob. 4loko was my friend. Mike wasn't there to tell me not to drink and drive. His role was fulfilled by nobody. Rob and I rediscovered how nice of a person Liz is. She takes every single opportunity to be nice and does it. She about ten times more nice than the average person. Be careful, being too nice will hurt you. The girls went for a ride to talk about girly things, and were nice enough to bring us some food. I spent $20 on McDonalds for peeps. Upon seeing Winston McDonalds arrived. As much as i condemn it, once every couple of years i do have it. I got double cheeseburger, McFlurry and apple pie. Everything in moderation, including moderation :)

Friday
Mother's and my aunt's birthday is today. I did not get my mom anything. I know. I am a bad son. I just suck at deadlines with presents, that's all. Once i see something she would like i'll get it. Keep in mind that i do like getting her flowers on random days and little things here and there. So i do have feelings despite my cyborg interior.
I also got her a card and wrote a famous poem in it. She said she cried a little when she read it which makes me feel accomplished. I'm glad she enjoyed it. I hoped she would :) Here is the poem:

For my aunt I got a political map and some pins because she travels a lot and i figured she should have a place where you can see all the places she went to (United States only, maybe next year we can move into a larger World Map, but they didn't have any good ones in the store) I wrapped it up so it looks like a totem or a magic stick and makes noises when shaken. She will have no clue as to what it is. Hope she likes it too.

In about 30min i will have to pick up my sister from school. Lots of guests in my place tonight - my mom has been cooking and preparing and all. Should be fun. She left with my aunt and one of their friend into a day of spa sauna and wine drinking. What a day :)

Michelle is coming tomorrow and will hang out for a weekend and we'll drive back to BC on Monday. Some people are already there. Good for them, i guess. Tomorrow her and i and Chris and his GF are having a dinner together. I think Chris will be driving somewhere. I don't remember.

Here is a fun picture:

Dreams

I have a firm believe that i wake up because my body is hungry, not because i have slept enough.

I dreamed about me, Andrew, and Joey. Andrew came visit to whatever place (town/city) i was. There was something before, but i remember he brought Winston. We were walking down the road all smoking cigarettes. I said something like "i know, i know" took couple more drags and threw it in the nearest trash can. We stopped by some store with various drinks. Andrew and Joey were fucking around as i was checking things 10ft away from them. I heard several bottles break and knew it was them. They paid the damage and we all had some refreshing glass bottles of soda or whatnot. The journey continued.

Today i want to hang my mother's and my sister's paintings in their rooms and go to the library to return "The Office" (season 4,5) and most likely take something else. Also i need to finish working on some decorative boxes, but right now it is time for some tea!

On the agenda

Black Swan - amazing movie. Definitely a watch. I started appreciating ballet more after watching it. If only "they" had some contemporary productions, although I'm pretty sure it happens all the time just as in theatre. I write theatre this way because i think it's more right.

Walk - Michelle and I walked about 2miles from my place to a car repair shop. It wasn't bad, the weather was perfect - only a little chill. We stopped by Chicken Joe's. Obv she liked it. There is like 87 (i dunno) ways they prepare chicken.

Laziness - i have spent total of 2.5 hours throughout this break working on applications and researching things for post BC. Yes I'm very lazy. It may also have to do with World of Warcraft. 100%
Warcraft really takes a lot of my time. I am really thinking about deleting all my characters. That way i won't have a reason to get back into it. But... But.. I dunno.
I was so lazy, i forgot to even get a picture for this post...

I have a sign next to my mirror in my room:
"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"

Awesome song

The little girl's voice is pretty much the center of awesomeness.

Perfection

"People focused on perfection still need to learn ‘just a little more’ and they’ll be ready ’some day’. There are seven days in a week and ’some day’ isn’t one of them!"

In Painting:
This is still something i struggle quite some. I always try to make the line as i want it in my mind, yet from the experience this rarely happens. Often i have to opt for an alternative which is usually just as good and often even better than the original design.

Life:
I hope there is no need to repeat that life does not work perfectly (i.e. by the plan you wish it to happen). We fail. We unexpectantly win opportunities. People come and go. It's important to remember that EVERYONE's life isn't perfect. Many are really good at hiding it. Trust me, your friend that's "above and beyond" has issues in family matters or self expression. Point is, nobody's life is perfect. There is no reason to assume so.

Googling perfection brings about several "motivational posters" with white large breasted women, some of which are quite attractive. I found this picture to be more of interest:

Yet again i'm thinking "what else should i put in this entry?" Is this enough information? didn't i want to include something else? Why. This is enough. Ill just start another entry when i need to :)

Michelle is here

So of course there isn't much time to blog. New Years was fun. I remember most of it, since i hadn't drank much: 1 Four Loko, 2-3 shots of rum, some punch, a jagger-bomb. I remember many people screaming, including myself, 15MINUTES, 10MINUTES 2MINUTES. Once the clock went 12 all got crazy and celebrated. So many reasons to enjoy New Years. 2011 will surely bring some change and growth (college graduation for one).
Art provided the house to get trashed in, but with an exception of couple of people, nobody messed up anything. Joey went to celebrate at Fred's house. Hopefully he had fun.

Watching Black Swan tomorrow. Gonna invite a shit ton of people, some may even show up. There has been quite the talk about the movie. I can not wait to lose myself in the movie theatre.
Warcraft is going well, Michelle is playing too while i paint. Now that she's sleeping i can talk trash about her. [Insert trash talking here]. I'm brutal.
Time to sleep. Tomorrow is another

this picture is not from the party, although i wish it was
