Finally shaped my facial hair appropriately after having it be how it is for 28 days. I think the event went awesome, people were excited to shave and go back to nice looking faces. I am glad nobody bailed and stuck with it. Except Eric. He is a b**8*.
Leaving for Jamaica this Sunday. Soooo excited. All inclusive. Michelle and i have been reading up on some clues and do's and don't's. 4 days will fly like crazy, matters not because these couple of days will be fantastic!
This reminds me i need to call Stingray and let them know i won't be getting my tattoo this Friday, but will have to move the appointment to sometime in middle/late March. I just realized if i spend all my money on ink, i won't be having too much fun in Jamaica via extracurricular activities.
Had dinner with Michelle, and her father. It was fun, we talked about people, society, beer, pizza, ideas, love. Nice time.

IT's my Birthday
Dean Clyde (Richard) was fancy enough to change up my Thursday routine and plans. We saw Winston and talked much about life choices, post graduation, shitty people and freaks. Importance of atmosphere. He is a really great guy. Now he is a great guy in Texas. Hope he'll keep in contact with me.
TOday i turn Twenty Three. DDDDamn. I will be having a wonderful day filled with reflections, joy, and doing things i love, like having ice cream for breakfast.
Everyone i was seeing i told it was my birthday and because of that i received plenty o' hugs and smiles in my way. Work was really easy and my evening included watching "Dead Poets Society".
Throughout the day i was writing various things on my mind and around me into my Birthday Reflection Journal, in which i only write and read during my birthday. I started it at 23 and the longer i keep it, the greater this treasure becomes.
Saturday Michelle and i watched "12 Monkeys" which is also a great movie.
The evening proceeded with roommate drinking, playing games the last one of which turned out to be strip pictionary. Everybody won!

Cant wait for no shave feb to be over. not that i dont like growing a bread, i just want to make it look better and shape it and be somewhat presentful. monday evening is the day. Just couple of days more.

pictures time
This is a picture that Mizersmade for me from this picture. One of the Valentine gifts i thought of. She loved it so much. I forgot how dorky she is.

She drew this based on this picture:

I printed and framed the anime one.
Also printed out some pics of friends from CT and such and some of roommates - from football games and hookah bars:

Now My room looks nice and cozy.
My birthday is tomorrow. I dunno. Should be fun. I'm quite excited.
I am planning to start a large painting on my birthday, not sure yet what it will be of or what colors. I'll figure it as I go.

One Night to be remembered!
The evening ended up skipping Manet and going straight to Misha's party. It was fun. Not a ton of people but enough to have cool and interesting conversations. Michelle was quite a popular gal with working in Plex entrance lots of people recognized her. Had a good conversation with Mike. Met some people's Misha asked about belenkoi. On our way back, we grabbed Stephen and his roommate Kris to chill with us and Winston. I played "the box" game and we generally had many laughs.
The Sunday was dedicated to physics homework, reading and all other such odd classwork. But because Michelle and I did a good amount, she made some scottish dish with layered potatoes n chicken n onions. It was really good. She has cooked a lot of different dishes throughout these semesters. After dinner, we watched "Up". Awesome movie. Her first time seeing it.

Meeting with Professors (AKA no coat Friday)
I saw my Theology (sophomore year) and my Philosophy (freshman year) professors today. We had a nice lively chat about being a senior and how much people grow in just a couple of years (a lot, seriously, A LOT). Very good conversations. I am looking forward to talk to them again at least once before graduation.
Signed up for Splash program again, this time i will be teaching "beginners guide to Meditation". Should be lot of fun. I can definitely feel how meditation is slowly changing my life and how i am able to pay attention to everything, including my thoughts and feelings.
Ordered some prints of different pictures of some friends and such. They should be coming sometime next week. I already have a space of wall in front of my desk where i put a sign "Under Construction" until the pictures come and i get to decorate it.
Also finally bought a camelbak water bottle because i lost my other one and i clearly saw how much less water i drank because of that. Yes, i paid $25 for it in the BC bookstore, but i don't really mind overpaying. At least i am hydrated now. Woop-Woop!
The weekend looks like couple of drinking parties (as usual). I hope to also spend sometime in the library studying for my Physics exam (on Wednesday), because, frankly, i don't have much homework or projects to be worried about. If i do well on the first exam, i won't have to be sweating over second one and the final.
No shave February is going well. Couple of my roommates have some decent hair, noticeable from close distance. I pretty much have what i usually have, only not groomed. I can not wait to shape it into something human looking :)

I did not get Teach For America interview
Didn't happen.
I'm okay actually. A little upset but nothing major, regardless of how much i wanted it and thought it would be fun. I am surprised at how well im taking it. I guess i truly do believe that "rejection is just a different kind of Yes". I am hoping to get an OTE preceptor position that i had last summer (which was tons of fun) as well as working couple of hours in the library to get some cash flow going. I hear post graduation life is not as "rich", however you interpret it. I will look into other programs that offer Master's upon completion and i believe that my life will work out regardless of what job i will have. My attitude will push me through all!
For my mindfulness log (part of Capstone homework) i decided to stop everything when this awesome song came up on Slacker radio. The song was "Paper Planes" my MIA which i haven't heard in a while so it was nice to hear it. So i stopped everything and just focused on my thoughts and feeling for the duration of 3-something minutes. It turns out in those 3 minutes i had about 15 ideas including taking poster down, writing notes, and idea for art project, a bunch of random memories tied to the song and not so much, and other "to do" things. Once the song was over i immediately started fulfilling my duties. It is crazy how much is going through our heads if we just pay attention. Winston stopped by to say hi and was on his way. He is such a nice person to be around.
I think this song came right after paper planes and its also a very nice Song

Chocolate: dark and spicy.
Capstone dinner was amazing. We just chilled, talked and reflected upon faith, hope, humanity. Good stuff. The atmosphere was homie of course. Pictures and decoration, lots of different things around. I also noticed all different people's socks, since we all took our shoes off.
Marissa is making something really awesome for me. I can not wait for it to be done.
Valentines Day: Michelle and i went to this amazing Thai place right at Cleveland Circle Bangkok Bistro where everything is out of the ordinary yummy. Then we headed back and watched "Animatrix". Totally amazing movie. Now since its just about midnight, i am going to start on my physics lab report questions. Who cares, everything will be just fine.
tomorrow i find out if i get TFA... Oh my. If i get a phone interview, i may be advanced to Full Day interview, and later hopefully accepted. I do REALLY want to do it. So exciting.
Also scheduling many a various lunches and dinners and meetings with people.
Had lunch with Evan, later will see Bobby, and two professor for Friday Morning. Perhaps also some raq. ball with Steve.
Interesting Quote I got from Honest Tea Bottle: "Man is a complex being; he makes the deserts bloom and lakes die." - Gil Stern

I'm in Love and 100 days.
More and more i realize how much i love Michelle. I want to do nice things for her, make her things. I enjoy spending my time with her. I'm quite lucky i love the person who's also my best friend. Yeah cheezy, but this is just how i feel.
Yes Valentines Day is coming. But i think it is just a reminder, a self check as to what my current relationship looks like. I made her an anclet that i started two summers ago and never finished it. So couple of days ago i just sat down and finished it. She really liked it, pretty much like anything else i get her. There is also couple more things in the process (E.P.L. & V.) that i'll get her once everything settles.
Friday
Went to Manet, had some drinks, hung out. it was fun, Had couple dangerous Pink Pantie Droppers, which my friend makes out of Vodka, Beer, and Crystal Light lemonade Powder. Did you get it? Vodka+Beer and lemonade powder to make it taste yummy. Danger!
As the night progressed i went back to my room and heard some chatting and music from ze neighboors across. So i stopped by and met several other people. Made people laugh and dissappeared just as fast and mysterious as i appeared.
Because I played some Raq. ball with Steve (who works in Library with me) my body was tired, and on top of drinking and winston i went to bed and passed out for twelve hours.
Saturday:
I have a bit of a headache, a tiny hangover. And tonight i will drink again. 100 days dance. It will be a shit show. lots of seniors drunk and having a blast. It sucks that there is only 900 tickets, so not everyone will be there. But many are also going to MA's and getting drunk there. Debauchery is in the air.
Sunday our Capstone professor invited our class (of 15) to his place for a homemade dinner. It will be awesome, we'll get to meet his partner and his son. I just enjoy having a personal relationship with professors, which happens rarely. This means no class on Monday morning.
I would also like to watch "Machete" with Michelle. Got it from media center.

knifing in dreams
i need to stop playing COD because i had a dream where i
knifed jeff (even though we practiced how to fight) later i figured he'd gone to director(?) saying Dzmitry sliced his hand. It was an accident.
Several things happened before this, but obviously i don't remember.
There were some 5 scientists (or some important figures) and only two of them were in a car that was driven by this guy who had a bunch of note cards in the car, and after i asked his name, he picked up a card, and read it "Tom". I told him the company is going to kill him anyway (he mentioned he's not working for US military, must be a contractor) because he killed one of 5 scientist (
It was some foresty place, i had to jump down and hide for people not to see me. I think i had one of scientists with me. Once i got noticed, i quickly got to the entrance where Tom dissapeared and saw a patrol who i swiftly killed (i also wondered who he was so stupid and easy to kill...) after that Jeff came and we played our routine.
there was an agenda, i promise.

Meditation and Stretch. Blueberry haiku
That's the way to start your day. I gotta tell you, Blogspot and peeps who peek into my lines, i enjoy meditating even for 10min. It helps me to relax and feel more within my body. I get a clean mind and am able to focus.
I think i must put the creations my Capstone classmates and i wrote. Each of us wrote a haiku about a blueberry. We had 10min to spend with a blueberry before eating it, and later wrote about it. You can try and guess which one i wrote:
As i mentioned in my blog and on facebook, these haiku were written by my fellow classmates and I in our amazing Capstone class.
The breeze of summer
Wrapped itself into a ball
Preserved for winter.
Smooth and worn and cool
A blueberry has so many
More colors than blue.
The skin and stem churn
The flavors are left behind
Inviting thank you
Skin like a balloon
But with slight force of the teeth
It is edible
It enters my mouth
Sweetness, juice, I want one more
Proceed with caution
Blue is the color
Of all things I will not eat
Oh, but blueberries.
Shalom from the branch
A world away from its roots
Here. This moment. Now.
Odd shapes are the best
Berry round in nature’s eye
Perfect with its flaws
Blueberry so small
But so heavy now, it seems
Here in this silence.
Resilient one,
The meaning found inside it
Vanishes quickly.
Tart pulp all sucked out
Only shriveled skin remains
That too satisfies
Black and brown and blue
So smooth, like a little earth
Now stuck in my teeth.
Hard on the outside
But soft when the mouth melts it.
Its smooth skin gone too.
So plump and plastic
The blueberry before me
I wanted to eat.
Not perfect to standards
But just what it’s meant to be
Clean, cool, round, smooth, there.
Crown of dried petals
Buddha’s navel; whale’s deep eye
Firm, crunch, tart, calm, splash.
Deceptive plump look
Thought it was full of sweetness
But inside, not ripe
So small but left much
Behind seeds tween teeth, paper
Stained by this tiny fruit
Cloudless reflections
Soured dimples and wrinkles
Imperfection’s ends.

Last days of the week
CCE show was hilarious. Winston, Michelle and I enjoyed the improv a lot. Couple of freshmen were really funny!
Superbowl - tons of fun with friends n beers. The game? who cares. I felt commercials were mediocre. Tequila shots, however were quite smooth. Second semester senior year is blossoming into good times :)
Atcha, Josh, Natalie, Me n Michelle.

Oh yes, there will be...booze!
Thursday went to Bangkok Bistro in Cleveland Circle with my Kairos groupies. It was nice to catch up and the food was so amazing. Lauren ordered for us. She goes there pretty much twice a week. We got some on the house shrimp and something else because she's such a regular customer. Woop-woop.
Friday:
Finally finished and submitted application for Teach For America. Whew, now we play the waiting game.
At night on BC campus usually involves pre-gaming, hopping between places, and drinking. Not everyone does, but most people have. I got couple of rum n cokes, some whiskey. There was a party down the hall on my floor, so i didn't have to walk any far once the RA's came. Josh came by and i spent the rest of the evening chatting with suite mates. Winston and Chinese food topped the evening.
My meditation challenge is going. 30min in the morning and evening weekends is hard. But it wouldn't be a challenge if it was easy.
What i want to do today: paint, ceramics, some reading, to go Bakery.
What probably will happen today: not sure yet.
Also: i kinda really wanna start watching "Kids Nation"
My Dandelion! Every petal brings something amazing and unique.
What would you say to a loved one?

Day 2 of no shaving, and meditation
Day two of not shaving. Everyone is chill. Eric refused to join us. He has some issues, but he hasn't expressed them openly... so it's weird.
Also i decorated out living room with some zombie calendar
. Now the room actually does not have much bare white wall.
Also got "100 days Dance" free ticket which is typically $30. I enrolled into this lottery and actually won. i never win anything.
finally. No, FINALLY finished my TFA letter of intent. How hard is it to write 500 words.
Made a cast of my face in ceramics today. I'm not sure yet how i will incorporate it. It's cool however that i have a cast of my face. Too bad i left most of my eyelashes in it. The weather by the way is crazy; lots of snow, then rain, and now it all froze over several inches of ice. BC sent an email twice directed at able men to clean snow for 4+ hours at $11/hour. If i didn't have a job or classes i probs would do it just for fun.
Meditation is kinda intense. i know i can't stretch every day AND meditate. Just not enough time in the morning. I'm doing 20min morning, 20min evening. Weekends will be 30min each. I'm excited. I enjoy finding various new ways of breathing and relaxation. Nothing can stop me now. MWaha-ahah-ahaa-haaa.
Went to play Raquett ball with Jeff. Lots of sweating but a great workout.
