Quickie

Facebook:Two things I look at when i friend you on Facebook: your profile pictures and your "About me" section. (Also who you're interested in but that's not intentional). Usually profile pictures give somewhat of an idea of "what kind of person" that it. This, of course, is only true for people using facebook, not just having it. "About me" section is often dry and one sided, but sometimes it's filled with awesome stories, creative ideas, etc. Personally i enjoy reading fictional biographies and odd lists. Here's to creativity!

Wednesday:
Had a lovely dinner with Peter F, (my Kairos leader) we chatted about what is important in life, and how to navigate it better. Priorities, and moderation, among other things.

Thursday:
Four Loko business:
it turns out that this Thursday (18th) all MA liquor stores stopped carrying Four Loko. They cleared all the shelves of God Juice and one even had an "RIP no more Loko" sign on the door, assuming that people have been asking about it.
Michelle and I went do dinner at Jacky's dinner (finally). Our waiter was from Kiev, so we spoke a bit of Russian. I had cow's stomach. it was okay. Chewy, not too much taste. Overall, okay. Should've ordered a duck or something. The atmosphere was nice however, some interesting paintings were on bar side.

Friday:
I didn't have much plans for going out, but ended up going off campus anyway for Doug & Liz's party (it was liz's roommate who i met during Halloween party) so several people had familiar faces. I thought, I'd never see these people again, but it turns out i did, and they were wearing normal clothes and were all chill and cool. There was Hookah in the living room (mint), lots of beer and other beverages. We played 7,11,dubs, then kings. I remember being drunk but not super gone. There might be some blanks in memories, but memory is silly anyway, often unreliable. That's why you need to write things down, always. (like this blog, for example) Then we took a taxi to BC.

Saturday:
Started lovely. (w) breakfast and good weather for football game. We owned Virginia 17:13. Great game. It was interesting throughout. After the game ended, a lot of students stayed and the band played a bunch of songs. Everyone sang. Then Senior players came, back and we cheered, and sang more. It was just a great way to finish this football season.
After the game, later in the evening, Michelle (who is by the way a huge HP dork) and I went to see Harry Potter 7 (part 1)
We got some delish food at Panera's and happily ate it in the theatre while waiting for the movie to start. The movie was alright, it was all a build up for part 2, which I think I'll enjoy a lot more. The theatre was quite full, some people dressing up, and everyone stayed pretty much quite throughout. Natalie and Alexandra went with us, but they didn't sit next to us, cuz i forgot they're coming and secured only 2 seats.

Got my mom a Boston College Sticker for the car. Because she has been texting me about it. I'm quite glad my mom got a hold on texting. It's so much easier than calling, for guys at least. for me, at least. I'm not a huge phone conversations guy.

Finally finished reading and returned to O'Neill library "Человек, который знал всё" (Person who knew everything). It's quite hard for me to finish reading a book, much easier to start and drop it. But this one actually kept me interested, i even dreaded a little reading the last part.
Someone said once: "Life is too short to finish bad books" If you don't like reading something or doing something - stop, and move on. Life is too short :)

Things i need to do today: Study for my Biochem exam, find a Biochem topic that i will present on, clean the stains on the carpet from my Halloween costume, physics Hwk. Instead I'm writing this blog. Smart me!

Things to look forward to:
THANKSGIVING. seeing some familiar CT faces will be nice.
I'm also thinking if it's a good idea to activate my World of Wacraft account. If i do, I'll be playing it all break. I dunno yet.

P.S. Did you know Dr. Seuss made political World war II cartoons?
