Challenge

I challenge you (myself as well of course) to have a quick mindfulness practice. Pick one of the songs you really like (between 2 and 7min long, i guess). Prepare yourself to sit down for the amount of time the song plays and not move. That's it. listen to one of your favorite songs while sitting down. That's it. Don't write things down, don't check anything, just be. Even for just couple of minutes.

Look where your mind is wondering, how many things we think about in such a short time span. I try to breathe, close my eyes, and immerse myself into the song, focusing on lyrics or a specific instrument. It's a great way to be aware of yourself and your thoughts.

Try this in the morning (and that song will get stuck in your head for a whole day, but you like it, right?) or evening.
Try it instead of breakfast, or on Tuesdays. Maybe with just one sock on?
