The Day i had a balloon.

"What makes you interesting isn’t just what you’ve experienced, but also what you haven’t experienced." There was a little flea market at O'Neill plaza, from flags and earrings to scarfs and other nonsense. There were several culture club tables as i saw them in the early part of the day, but by the time i got back, tables were empty but the balloons were still there. I took one and tied it to my water bottle. It was awesome. That was Thursday.
Evening of Thursday I had Table Talk about what it is to be an adult and what those 1-4 formative years after college before jumping into career mean to your vocational search. (Wow, i'm sneezing so much as i'm writing this...)

Had lunch with Amanda in front of Hillside because it was nice, though a bit windy.
She's planning on Peace Corp and I am so happy for her. She will do great things with her next couple of years. It is very interesting to talk to seniors and how many of them (at least those of my friends) can appreciate the unknown future and learn to take life as it goes. Getting a diploma from a university is just a small portion that is learning. We find out about ourselves so much more during these couple of years stuffed with experience and opportunity. One just have to take a chance.

Friday was a day of silence which again was such a wonderful tool of awareness and reflection. I actually enjoy not speaking for a good reason and see myself and my thoughts throughout the day.

Amy took a picture because i came to work like this. Good thing the phone did not ring.

James Franco came and premiered "The Broken Tower" at BC. I won a lottery ticket to the viewing and Q&A. It was confusing and odd but after James explained what he was trying to show (after all, i had no idea who the poet was...) it made more sense. He's really funny and awesome guy. Glad i had an opportunity to see him live.
Obviosly this was not enough for the weekend, so right after Q&A, i went back to my room to pregame for a spring concert featuring Wale, J.Cole, Dead Prez. It kinda sucked. Not as much fun as i thought it would be. We were sober halfway through. All good though. Jason & I went to Ruby to see some people and have some drinks.

Kevin made a BOMB long island ice tea. Was Friday? or another day? Does it really matter?

Saturday morning Michelle, Jeff, and I went to Graffiti War (themed "Dreams") and made some sick spray paint thang. i didn't take a picture. What a fail, but i hope duing art's fest it will be hung. We can even take it after it's over. It'd be cool!

Random thought: thinking about picking up running this summer, depending on what i will be doing with myself. I know i don't really enjoy running that much, but i think i can learn to enjoy it. Just gotta do small steps.
