Let the Week begin (Oct. 11th-17th)

Monday was another vegetarian day, which went quite well. Had good dinner with Stephanie G. We talked about distance relationships, feminism, and other things.
Also had a quick 5 min interview to help with someone's project. Foreign people are in demand to hear "ba/pa".
Wanted to paint or go to gym but didn't have time because i was a lazy bum.

Stumbled upon another great blog: Raptitude.com: Getting Better at being human. Sat in my room and read it for two hours while my roommate was trying to fall asleep.
The guy who wrote the blog suggested a book in his comments which i happily bought (not because I'm easily influenced, but because I'm quite interested in Buddhism):Buddhism Without Beliefs: A Contemporary Guide to Awakening written by Stephen Batchelor. It's a non-religious approach to Buddhism. Cost me $4.

Today, because our Physics Lab got cancelled (Columbus day = Monday = whole week of labs cancelled) I ventured to Ceramics Studio and made several water devices. One looks like a face.

Then went to Michelle's dorm for some delicious Pork Chops with roast tiny-tiny potatoes and corn on the cob. Super yummy. "Borrowed" some cookie dough ice cream while walking through the stadium for Michelle. She goes crazy for little things, so it's always fun to surprise her.

Later, BCSSH (Boston College Students for Sexual Health) had a quick meeting during which i aquired some condoms to distribute to anyone who is willing to stop by my dorm. It's cool to have safe sex. Promise.

Tomorrow I have an Info Session for Peace Corp. Gotta print out my Resume (also need to print out my Itinerary for Las Vegas, FRIDAY YAY.)

Got an email about Senior Week committee. They have some questions and I want to apply. We'll see how that goes.

These past couple of weeks have been quite pro-gay so here is a Great Youtube pro gay marriage video-link: FCKH8.com Straight Talk About Gay Marriage
