Vegas Weekend Extravaganza

About six or so months ago Art invited me to go to Las Vegas with him (and his parents) and two other friends Shawn and Maya. On which i responded "YES". Never been out West, and also why wouldn't i want to spend a weekend with friends having tons of fun?

Friday:
4.30am waking up. Leaving by 5am. (flight is at 6.30am) super rainy. Traffic. (a burning car or something?) I get there. Flight delayed. So i arrive at Newark later than expected, and get to Las Vegas at 1.20pm instead of 11.40am. Nothing terrible.

Taxi to Wynn Encore was $30. We stayed at Encore. HOLY SHIT. Super elite, crazy expensive everything. But on that later. Check out the website if interested :)

That afternoon we went to Shark Reef. Among lots of sharks, and fish, there was a Komodo Dragon, Green Sawfish, Green Sea Turtle, which are all endangered. Ill put pictures later, when others will upload their pics.

For dinner we went to Emeril's and i ordered rabbit, and clam chowder. What an amazing meal. Corn bread they had = Best i have EVER had. I don't fancy corn bread too much, but this was beyond epic. Layers of flavor and smells and textures. Yepp, just cornbread. Rest of our meals from that moment on were exceptional.

The Friday night event (right after dinner) was "KA" by Cirque Du Soleil. stunning. Best live performance i have ever seen. If you ever get a chance, see any of other shows, but this one is mind-blowing. The action, the setting(!!) the story, the interaction. The final battle.

Best performance i have ever seen. Amazing.

Friday night was engulfed with happy thoughts, crazy plans, drinks everywhere, some gambling and utter confusion of how crazy the place was we were in.


Saturday: around 8.30am
Woke up, Shawn made a drink, and we both had one before brushing our teeth. I had taken his glasses to look cooler.
